Al Mamzar Beach Park

Al Mamzar is a large park with lots of trees and greenery. It has an amphitheatre, with open grassy spaces and paths winding between plenty picinic areas and children's playground. There are beaches, that have sheltered areas for swimming, with lifeguards as well as changing rooms. The park also provides a barbecue area.

Al Mamzar park is located in the busiest place in Dubai. This is one of the nearest place to getaway here in Dubai. A place where you can have a picnic at the same time enjoying the landscape and also the beach water.

I and my flatmates decided to take a plunge on dubai's beach and we came to this Al Mamzar beach park to have our beach outing and to relax with all day's work. We deserve to take our time off from all our busy schedules in work.

Khor Fakkan Beach Outing

Khor Fakkan (Arabic:خورفكان) is a town in the emirate of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Located along the Gulf of Oman, Khor Fakkan is geographically surrounded by the emirate of Fujairah. It is a natural deep water port that is now a major container terminal.

Khor Fakkan is a popular tourism spot, surrounded with huge mountains and attractive beaches. Its most famous hotel is the Oceanic. It also features coral outcrops suitable for diving and snorkeling. Tourism is somewhat held back by Sharjah's ban on alcohol.

This is the place where I and my friends celebrated the Eid Holiday after a month long ramadan. It's time for celebration and get together with friends here in Dubai. It was a totally a great day for me and my friends.

The day started early in the morning for a almost 2 hours drive from Dubai to Fujairah then to Khor fakkan open beach. It was a nice trip and my first long distance trip outside Dubai. Here are some of our activities for that day.

My new Toy

The story of my car

I have already got my first ride in this side of the country. But before you will be able to get your ride in this country you will have to painfully wait for obtaining your driving license. Its not that easy to obtained driver's license in this country. You have to undertake series of driving lessons before you will have your final road test with the authorities. For my own experience I was able to finished by driving lessons and road test for a total of 10 months before I was able to get that elusive driving card.

After I have received my driver's license there's a rush in my side to be able to get my new ride. Its just like a child wanting to know his first step in life. So I have rushed to various car dealers and landed with Al Habtoor Motors dealers of Mitsubishi, Bentley, Austin Martin. I just opted to Mitsubishi since I could not afford those other brands.

Then Finally I have decided to get the Mitsubishi Lancer 2008 just for practicality reason. But I have already lots of plan for this car and make it a head turner. I will just post next time the upgrades of my new toy.
